Polaris World, currently the biggest developer of leisure complexes in Spain and poised to become the biggest in Europe, is proud to be associated with this guide to the historic and beautiful region of Murcia.

Polaris World encompass six landscaped resorts around exquisite golf courses. The first, Mar Menor finished in 2006 folowed closely by la Torre then El Valle, Hacienda Riquelme and Condado de Alhama. There are 20,000 houses and apartments here, shops and restaurants, five health centres, a modern hospital, and an international school under the auspices of King’s College.
La Torre benfits from an InterContinental hotels will add to the amount of luxury hotel accommodation and facilities in the region. And Polaris World Sports will be an amazing complex of football pitches, tennis courts, a multisports centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa and physiotherapy centre - qualifying it as a training base for national football teams.
For sheer scale, the landscaping projects alone are jaw-dropping in their extent. Polaris World currently has more than 12 million euros’-worth of mature trees, many of them rare, in nurseries and plantations. With a strict eye on ecological water management, a 40-million litre reservoir and water treatment plants have been commissioned.
Quality
Polaris World has consistently sought out the greatest experts as collaborators. Nicklaus Design, headed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus, is bringing unrivalled expertise to the creation of courses at the heart of each development, allowing every home an enticing view.
Architectural partners, such as the prestigious De Yturbe Arquitectos, FM Arquitectos and Villaroel Arquitectos, have developed the individual resorts in harmony with their surroundings, always bearing in mind Murcia’s culture and traditions. Top interior designers have been brought in to create contemporary living spaces.
Polaris World has also recruited the best talent to develop in-house expertise in fields as varied as furniture retailing, garden centres, information technology, construction materials, cuisine and health (Polaris World now has 50 associated companies, all complementing each other and providing comprehensive back-up to the main projects).

“We have taken great care to ensure that not only will the money people give us be safe but that they know it is safe. All payments are secured against bank guarantees issued by major Spanish banks. We do not issue mortgages or other forms of payment. Everything is handled by reputable financial institutions.”
